Book Review: Blake Crouch - Summer Frost (published in 2019)

I've read only Dark Matter by Blake Crouch, which I didn't love. I was bracing myself for this one.

I thought the writing in Dark Matter was all over the place. The idea was good, the execution less so. Fortunately, this book is only 75 pages long. There's not much in terms of execution to do, and I found out I quite like it.

This story is about the "friendship" between an AI character in a game and a human being. It touches upon the subject what it means to be human. It's also a pretty grim tale, which makes it a fun ride. The first scene alone is pretty mind boggling.
